Wen difficult situations arise, we become aware of how little control we have over our lives, so we seek protection. Refuge from fear and suffering can be found in an authentic Spiritual Teacher, spiritual teachings, and a spiritual community. In Buddhism this is referred to as Refuge in the Three Jewels.

11:45am - 12:30pm Meditation
12:30pm - 2:00pm Lunch
2:00pm - 3:30pm Teaching
3:30pm - 4:00pm Break
4:00pm - 5:30pm Refuge Vow Ceremony (optional)
5:45pm Pratimoksha Vow Ceremony (for those interested)
An explanation of both sets of vows will be explained prior to the 3:30pm break.
