Public Service

Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada strives to exemplify Buddhist practice through public service.

Visitor centre

Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada (KMCC) was formerly situated in Mississauga where it began its function as a National Buddhist Temple.  It was open for school and church visits and as a place where visitors could just drop in to find out more about Buddhism.

In 2007, KMCC moved to the heart of Toronto. This new temple, situated on 631 Crawford Street, south off Bloor between Christie and Ossington subway stations, is a place of refuge for all those seeking Buddhist teachings. It consists of a unique meditation room, a bookstore. a gift shop and social area.  It is also the home ot Tharpa Publications- a company dedicated to distributing Buddhist books throughout Canada.

Group and personal visits are welcome seven days a week. To make arrangements for yourself or for a group, please  call us at 416-762-8033.
