Temple
Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada (KMCC) is the National Kadampa Temple in Canada. KMCC has arisen from the pure intention and vision of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and is dedicated to the happiness and freedom from suffering of every living being.
The Temple has been completely renovated and redesigned under Geshe Kelsang's guidance into a modern Kadampa Buddhist Temple.
This Temple is treasured by Kadampa practitioners as a holy object inspiring us to attain inner and outer peace, for the sake of all living beings.
The Kadampa Temple is open to everyone: people who would like to learn more about Buddhism, school and church groups, and for individuals who would like to try some meditation.
We have Open Hours Monday to Friday from 10 to 5pm and on Sundays from 10 - 4pm. Please note that we will be closed from Wednesday, July 21 to Monday, August 9 due to the Summer Festival in England.
During Open Hours at the Kadampa Temple you are welcome to come visit, take a tour or simply sit quietly in the meditation room.
